Boxwoods can be the workhorse of the landscape often planted to form distinctive evergreen borders. Boxwoods are low maintenance little shrubs that can grow up to 4-6 inches a year. They have a natural rounded shape but can be pruned or shaped if desired. New growth emerges with lime-green foliage changing to dark green petite rounded leaves.

Use as a foundation plant or plant as a formal hedge for a classic, traditional edging to finish your landscape. They can also be used as a low hedge to identify and define separate areas of your garden. Place in containers for year round evergreen color. This is an easy, low maintenance shrub that once established has moderate drought tolerance. Pest and deer resistance. Hardy in zones 5-9.
