Purple Sandcherry can either be grown as a small tree or a flowering shrub reaching 6-8 feet in height and spread. It is easy to manage desired size and shape with pruning after flowers have faded. It is a rapid grower so it won’t take long to get established for you to enjoy it’s ornamental impact in your landscape. Plant in full sun to part shade. Hardy in zones 4 through 7.
