Lilac Scentara Pura(R) is a new introduction by Proven Winners. ‘Scentara Pura’ is a semi-dwarf lilac with exceptionally fragrant spring blooms. A heavy bloomer with pure purple, extremely fragrant flowers. This is a standout semi dwarf, well-branched compact deciduous lilac bush. If trimming is desired for shaping, do no prune past mid-July to prevent loss of flower buds. Place this lilac in full sun in well draining soil. One of the best lilacs for areas with mild winters and hot summers. Disease and mildew resistant.

Great as a landscape mass planting, specimen focal point or as a border plant.
