Evergreen shrubs are a group of popular shrubs that allow for year round color and structure in the landscape. Evergreens are often used as a privacy screen or hedge as they do not loose their leaves or needles through the winter and can be pruned to desired size and shape. Some evergreen shrubs have interesting shape and size and often serve as a specimen plant.
