A miniature ‘Limelight’ Hydrangea!
Little Lime®has the same awesome vigor and flower power as Limelight (R) but only 1/3 the size. Blooms emerge a lime green color changing to a soft pink then burgundy- prolonging the show through fall. Flowers are held upright on strong stems that resist drooping. A reliable bloomer and hardy. This petite shrub will add a burst of color to any landscape.
This dwarf size (only 3-5 feet tall and wide) makes this shrub very versatile when placing in your garden. A real standout when planted en mass. The compact size is also perfect for growing in containers to enjoy on the patio or porch. The interesting coloration of blooms makes it the perfect flower for cutting or drying.
A light trim early spring will encourage fresh growth and more blooms. Like all paniculata hydrangeas, Little Lime (R) blooms on new growth (new wood) so cold winters do not affect blooming. Soil pH does not change color of blooms. Hardy zones 3-8.
